| Emmet Cohen is a 2010
UM Frost graduate who is recognized as one of the most gifted of
a new generation of jazz talent. Emmet tours and records
with luminaries including Ron Carter, Christian McBride, Jimmy
Cobb, and Brian Lynch. This will be Emmet's third year
performing at the MJC with his
trio, Russell Hall and Kyle Poole. |

Anderson's Tribute to Louis Armstrong started in South
Florida but now resides in Europe where it is an in-demand show.
Troy will be featured as Louis Armstrong in a big-budget motion
picture set for release
this summer. Troy is the most-requested performer by MJC
audiences. |

Horns
of Miami Jazz Consort
| Svetlana is a
critically acclaimed "outstanding" (Wall Street Journal)vocalist
from New York and a leader of the New York based swing band, The
Delancey Five ("NYC Darlings" Time Out). Svetlana's shows
transport the audiences to the carnival of sound, seamlessly
moving from sophisticated and sultry retrospection to a rowdy
joyous dance party. |

HENDRIK MEURKENS Quartet

Hendrik Meurkens, a
virtuoso on both the chromatic harmonica and the vibraphone, is
the most important jazz harmonica player since Toots Thielemans.
German-born but now based in New York, Meurkens’ recordings and
performances garner worldwide acclaim because the transcendent
beauty of his music has universal appeal. |

| This will be Bill Mays'
third appearance with the MJC. The evidence of Bill's gift on
the piano is the list of hundreds of singers he has accompanied
on stage and in the studio, a list which includes Frank Sinatra,
Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, and Sarah Vaughan. |
